The beaches of Cornwall offer fantastic opportunities for rock fishing and beach casting. Excellent beaches for fishing are Crackington Haven and Millook where it is possible to catch excellent pollack, mackerel, wrasse, plaice, conger, sea bass, codling, flatfish, whiting and dogfish from the shore.
Crabbing is a popular past time for children. The rock pools at Crackington Haven are fantastic for this, nets and crabbing lines are available to purchase from the beach shops.
